OPTO 22 MISTIC_B DDE Server
The Klinkmann Automation OPTO 22 MISTIC_B DDE Server (MISTIC_B) is a Microsoft Windows 32-bit application program that acts as a communication protocol Server and allows other Windows application programs to access the data from OPTO 22 mistic Model 200 I/O Remote Units (Bricks) and B3000 brain boards (Snap I/Os). Any Microsoft Windows program that is capable of acting as a DDE or FastDDE Client may use the MISTIC_B Server. There are following MISTIC_B Server versions available:
FEATURES Communicates with Mistic Model 200 I/O Remote Units (Bricks) and B3000 brain boards (Snap I/Os) over the RS-485 twisted pair wiring. The OPTO 22 AC37 adapter card is required to enable high speed two wire RS-485 communication at rate up to 115.2 kBaud. Minimizes system message traffic by dynamically calculating and optimizing poll lists to read only, client-requested items/points. Supports multiple topics, allowing different data update rates for each controller. Provides a communication status flag for each topic. Supports standard DDE among multiple applications.
SPECIFICATIONS Hardware: IBM or compatible 386/486/Pentium equipped with a minimum of 4 MB RAM (16 MB RAM for Windows NT). May require more memory to run other Windows programs simultaneously. Software: Microsoft Windows 95 (98), Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, W2K and ME. Computer Interface: The OPTO 22 AC37 adapter card. Maximum Connections: Up to 256 Digital or Analog Bricks can be accessed through the OPTO 22 Remote I/O Bus. Devices Supported: OPTO 22 mistic Model 200 I/O Remote Analog and Digital Units (Bricks).
