How is the software sent?
- The software packages are delivered via UPS Express if not otherwise indicated.
What is included with the software?
- The package includes a manual, disk and protection key for a standard parallel port.
How long will it take for the software to arrive?
- A couple of days is needed for order processing. The transport time varies between 1-4 days depending on your location (UPS Express).
How do I place an order?
- Orders can be emailed (automation@klinkmann.fi) or faxed (+358 9 541 3541). The following information should be included: invoicing address, delivery address, purchase order number and other contact information. Please use our product codes if possible (see the product data sheets at this website).

PROTECTION
What copy-protection methods do the software packages use?
- Our software packages are protected by a dongle key.
If we're using two products that require dongle keys, is there a way to use them both but only take up one parallel port?
- Yes. Simply plug the first dongle key into LPT1, and plug the second dongle key into the back of the first. The alternative is to use two parallel ports: plug the first dongle into LPT1, and the second into LPT2.
LICENSING
What kinds of licenses are available?
- Normally we sell user licenses but we also offer other licenses, for example site licenses. Please contact us for further information.
How many licenses do I need to buy?
- It depends on how many PCs will be using the DDE Server to communicate with the PLC. Two examples:
If two PCs are connected to e.g. Sysmac Link network and each will be using the DDE Server to transfer data to and from the PLC, two (2) licenses are required.
If only one PC will be using the DDE Server to transfer data to and from the PLC, and the PC is connected through an Ethernet network to a PC gateway, which connects the Ethernet with the Sysmac Link and PLC, then only one (1) license is required.

- Demo versions of our software are available for downloading here. Additionally, our products have return right within 60 days - this allows you to test them.
