Carel-IPC Application

The Klinkmann Automation Carel-IPC Application (CarelApp) is a Microsoft Windows NT application allowing to detect changes of values in InTouch Application database and send a new value as ASCII string in CSV format to Carel-IPC kernel. Carel_IPC, developed by Carelcomp Forest Oy, Finland, is a communication system that enables fast and reliable transfer of messages (TCP/IP and NetIPC protocols supported) between various computers. The CarelApp also can receive ASCII message from Carel-IPC kernel and write a new value to the given tag of InTouch Application database. The CarelApp with Carel-IPC kernel offers message transferring between various computers, where can run different operating systems - e.g., Windows NT, SCO Unix, AIX, OSF/1, and on which Carel-IPC kernel is running.

The CarelApp is intended for use with Wonderware InTouch 6.0 or 7.0 on MS Windows NT.
