SurfX ActiveX Control
The Klinkmann Automation SurfX ActiveX Control (SurfX OCX) is used to display the values of Wonderware InTouch tags as elements of graphical chart's curve(s). The names of InTouch tags should include the number of tag. The numbers of InTouch tags are put on X-axis of chart and the current values of InTouch tags are put on Y-axis of chart. One curve can contain up to 999 elements and up to 5 curves can be displayed in one SurfX control (chart). The SurfX ActiveX Control is intended for use with Wonderware InTouch 7.0 on MS Windows NT and 95.
FEATURES Special setup program provided to install and register the SurfX ActiveX Control. Supports Wonderware InTouch standard Wizard/ActiveX installation/uninstallation procedure. Supports special InTouch tag naming system to obtain values for displaying curve(s). The names of InTouch tags should have the following format: Tagname_NNN where Tagname is a common part for all tags used in some curve, e.g. SurfVal; For example, the following tagnames can be supported: SurfVal_001, THICKN_014, val_325. For each curve the color of curve, start tag number, end tag number and common part of tag names can be specified. Supports automatic scaling both on X-axis and Y-axis.
SPECIFICATIONS Hardware: IBM or compatible 486/Pentium equipped with a minimum of 16 MB RAM. May require more memory to run other Windows programs simultaneously. Software: Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, version 4.0 with Service Pack 3 installed. Microsoft Windows 95. Wonderware InTouch 7.0 with license installed.
